Quantum Salon Insights is an independent research project focused on making sense of the quantum tech ecosystem.
This newsletter is where I explore the ideas, patterns, narratives, and structural misalignments that show up across quantum tech and adjacent deep-tech fields. I use it as a thinking space: a place to map what I’m noticing, to clarify conceptual boundaries, and to understand how technologies and institutions relate to one another.
That research feeds directly into the Quantum Salon consulting practice, where I work with deep-tech teams on problems that sit at the intersection of strategy, communication, and technical content. The writing helps me develop frameworks, questions, and perspectives that eventually show up in my advisory work. In turn, working with deep-tech teams gives me new patterns to investigate here.
I publish on Tuesdays, usually every two weeks, though I occasionally skip a week or two depending on how the ideas are shaping up.
New posts are free for the first month. After that, most move to the paid archive, while some remain free. Paid subscribers mainly support the research itself; the additional perks are access to the archive and occasional subscriber-only pieces.
If you’d like to follow along, subscribe for free.
If you’re a student and would like access to the archives but feel that the price is outside your budget, send me an email.
If you want to help sustain the work, you can become a paid supporter.
If you’re an industry professional and you’d like to expense your subscription, it generally fits under professional-development or research budgets. You can find a short “how to expense this” guide here.
In all cases, I’m glad you’re here!
Aggie
